The Lancaster General - Norlanco Outpatient Rehabilitation facility offers imaging services, laboratory testing, physical therapy, and pulmonary function testing. At Lancaster General - Norlanco, the focus is Outpatient comfort and care. The facility offers comfortable surroundings, advanced technologies, and medical diagnostic testing.
Lancaster General implemented MediLinks for Rehabilitative Medicine (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) in 1994. The Norlanco Outpatient facility has been using MediLinks since July 2005.
Prior to the MediLinks implementation, the Norlanco facility used a manual, paper based system relying on a transcriptionist for a quick turnaround time. Productivity reports and other statistics were counted manually leaving room for inaccuracy and inefficiency.
Today the Norlanco facility is using MediLinks to track productivity among its therapists. This reporting capability monitors performance standards at the therapist level, department level, demonstrates who is producing results, determines missed therapies, and scheduling needs. Norlanco tracks productivity by unit, practitioner treatment units, visits, and revenue. In addition the reporting system includes the cancellation & no show rates and missed therapies.
