For those Rehabilitation facilities that may be concerned with the impact of the 75% Rule on their organization, MediServe has produced a short white paper "Controlling Your Destiny Amidst the 75% Rule Initiative". This paper will discuss the role of a clinical information system in the facility and creating additional options for alternative revenue streams.
As highlighted in the paper, a clinical information system can assist in three key strategies for (1) admitting the 'right' patients, (2) improving operational efficiency, and (3) maximizing available reimbursement.
The 75% Rule white paper and additional white papers can be found at mediserve.com/media/media_downloads.asp. Emergency Department white papers can be found at emergencydepartment.com.
MediServe will continue to analyze key industry issues and add to our white paper library.
