Four of these new customers - Duke University Medical Center, The Cleveland Clinic, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Shands at UF - are recognized in the 2002 "America's Best Hospitals" list of U.S. News & World Report. Additionally, Duke University Medical Center, The Cleveland Clinic and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center received the U.S. News & World Report "Honor Roll" designation - among the best 17 hospitals in all specialties.

"We are excited to have these hospitals as new MediServe partners," said Bruce Mortensen, President, MediServe Information Systems. "More healthcare organizations are discovering that a Clinical Information System such as MediLinks can help address some of the most pressing issues in the healthcare industry today. We're helping executives increase revenues through automated charge capture. We're also increasing staff satisfaction by increasing clinician time at the patient bedside. These are just two examples from a range of business, patient, and organizational benefits that MediLinks has demonstrated to our clients."

"MediLinks gives healthcare leaders and their staff a diverse toolset to make their treatment and business more effective," said Jim Brennan, Executive Vice-President, Sales & Service. "In an environment where leaders are closely analyzing IT dollars, MediLinks has demonstrated the repeated ability to provide clients a significant and recurring return on investment."
