It has come to our attention that with the growth MediServe has experienced in the past few years, we also have many new users who don't quite know what to expect or get out of the MSUG conferences. Sound like you? Read on...
The MediServe User Group conference is designed as an environment in which a collaboration of ideas, tools, and concepts pertaining to MediLinks® is shared amongst users from different facilities across the country. We hope that you will come to the conference with knowledge to share, and leave with knowledge to take back with you. You’re not on your own though - our Project Management team works hard at providing information and tools to help you do your job better. You will attend information packed sessions of your choice; sessions are arranged in tracks corresponding to your department. Feel free to choose those you’d like to attend, no sign-up is required. A full program guide featuring a schedule with class descriptions will be available on the website close to the conference dates.
"Sponsored" vs. "Non-Sponsored"
Sponsored attendees are those attendees who have been previously arranged to attend the conference, as outlined in their ASLF agreement. Hotel, flight, meal, and transportation costs will be picked up by MediServe and there are no extra tuition costs to attend. Breakfast and lunch will be provided to the attendee at the hotel on days classes take place and dinner will be provided at the evening reception. Dinner will also be provided to the attendee if it is served at a company sponsored event or activity; all other dinners will be reimbursed (see reimbursement form for specific dates). Please note that guests of sponsored attendees are responsible for their own travel, lodging, and meal costs.
Non-Sponsored attendees are those attendees who have not have not been previously arranged to attend the conference, as outlined in their ASLF agreement. Non-Sponsored attendees will be responsible for paying tuition costs, hotel, flight, and arranging their own transportation. Meals will be included in the tuition cost. Breakfast and lunch will be provided to the attendee at the hotel on days classes take place and dinner will be provided at the evening reception. Dinner will also be provided to the attendee if it is served at a company sponsored event or activity; all other dinners will be reimbursed (see reimbursement form for specific dates).

What do I expect when I arrive?
Once you arrive at the resort, please check-in at the hotel first, then follow the signs to check-in at the MediServe registration desk. We will provide you with all the supplies you will need for the conference including your conference binder containing a program guide, class PowerPoint printouts, reimbursement form, attendee contact list, product enhancement form, and other pertinent information. We will also provide city guides and tourist information for your use, as well as a gift for you! The Evening Reception is that evening, so get ready to mingle and have fun!
What should I expect for the rest of the week?
The rest of the week you will be attending classes throughout the day, and attending activities at night. We will have at least one group event throughout the course of the conference; this may be off or on-site, but is always fun for everyone. This is purely optional, but we most likely will need to know if you would like to participate or not ahead of time (you will be contacted). You are always welcome to enjoy the city on your own as well. When the conference concludes, the same transportation arrangements apply as your arrival.
